2024 Annual Meeting
Saturday November 2nd at 10:00 am

Holloway's Garage 12086 Peach Road

As most of you know, Pinecrest has been managing aquatic plants on our lake for many, many years. They have notified us that they can no longer continue, so with their recommendation, we will be moving forward with Aquatic Weed Control. A representative from their company will be at the meeting to discuss their plan and pricing.

This will be your opportunity to hear about the changes and ask questions as well as connect with your neighbors.

Hope to see you there!
Welcome New Neighbors!
The Dan Chamberlin Family has moved into a home on Menominee Drive.

Frank and BJ Green have recently moved into 14865 12th Road. This will just be a weekend/summer home for them.

Kevin and Liz Mershmer moved into 15009 12th Road late last summer, and have been diligently working on a new retaining wall on the lake side of their home.

The property at 15029 12th road has recently sold, and we look forward to meeting and welcoming them to our wonderful lake.
Fish Fry
The 2024 Myers Lake Fish Fry/ Bake Sale was a huge success. The Lake residents really stepped up this year providing amazing baked items for us to sell. Over 20 volunteers showed up Saturday morning, May 11th to work. A steady stream of customers kept all of us busy for the 3 hours we were open. It was great to see a lot of our neighbors come thru the line and purchase sandwiches too.
At the end of the day $1,055 was made. This money will be used to treat the weeds of the common area (center) of the Lake.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this a successful fundraiser!

Boats Meet at Wendy and Garold Holloway's
September 1, 2024

The Blueberry Splash is a 1-mile open-water swim on Myers Lake, Plymouth, Indiana. All proceeds from this event go toward providing free swim lessons to kids.

WTCA Article May 23, 2024

"Generations of children have learned how to swim at the Plymouth Public Pool. For the last several summers, the Blueberry Splash has partnered with the Plymouth Park Department and Deb Friar at Small Wonders Day Care to provide children swim lessons at no charge. Last year the Blueberry Splash provided free lessons to 35 kids enrolled in the Small Wonders Day Care! With the generosity and hard work of the Blueberry Splash leadership, many children in our community will learn to swim free of charge this summer.

The Blueberry Splash fundraiser happens on Sunday morning of Labor Day weekend when 30 to 40 seasoned swimmers show up at the west end of beautiful Myers Lake at 10:00 a.m. and swim 1 mile as fast as they can. Awards are given to the 1st through 3rd place finishers. Holloway said, “We would love to have more than 50 swimmers, so start training early so you can join in the fun!” The State Police Dive Team is always present to make sure that all participants safely finish the race.

Regional Sewer District
The Regional Sewer Board is now meeting on a monthly basis.
You can find information about upcoming meetings and read minutes from past meetings here.
There will eventually be a dedicated website but for now this information is housed on the consultant's site.
The first project will include Myers Lake. The first step is securing grant funding to help pay for the project. Unfortunately, the 2024 application was not funded. We will reapply in 2025 and if approved, COULD start in 2026. However, there is still much work to be done prior to seeing any construction.
